The types of plastic packaging materials
According to ASM Census Bureau data and FPA statistics, preparation of flexible packaging materials include: resin, film, foil, ink, paper, coatings, adhesives and the like. Wherein the resin is mainly used for the production of single-layer or multi-layer co-extruded composite film, and the film is mainly used in dry lamination process to produce a composite film.
Flexible packaging materials, the more common materials include low density polyethylene resin (LDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), PP, PET, polyamide (PA6 or PA66), PS etc. ; there are also some high barrier resins, such as ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), liquid crystal polymer (LCP); nano-coating film You can achieve high barrier properties, e.g.,vacuum plating and vacuum deposition film of silicon aluminum oxide film.
